Becoming Catholic - Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the process whereby adults enter the Catholic Church. RCIA classes are held on Tuesday evenings during the school year. During the classes, those who attend the RCIA are educated on what the Catholic Church believes and are given the opportunity to learn and ask questions about those beliefs.
Volunteers are needed to serve as spiritual companions and sponsors for RCIA participants.
